“ I wanted to share my experience with this lovely restaurant, it is nestled in a side street right off of broad street. But when you find it you are discovering a great restaurant and what I feel is a hidden gem in the city. The service is friendly with a lovely lady behind the counter that actually remembers my earlier visit which I found quite thoughtful. Now on to the food, I typically order the Chicken Katsu Curry whenever I’m able to go there and it never disappoints. The chicken is perfectly crispy and flavorful over a tasty, savory gravy covered rice. The decor is different in a quirky and fun way and the food prep time was good. I will try to visit more often whenever possible because the food in both flavor and presentation are great but also the service is friendly. The “Thank you for coming back!” really struck a chord for me in a great way! Thank you so much! ”

The chicken katsu was super crunchy and flavorful, and HUGE lol I love the shredded cabbage which perfectly balanced out the rich dark curry. And the rice was the solid - sorry but not sorry - short grain rice which always makes everything even more tasty LOLLL Very happy and can't wait to visit next time! P.s. the owner is truly the sweetest. Service here is incredible ”

My god the chicken was so perfectly crunchy, full of flavor. The rice? Absolutely delicious. And the service? This lady was the nicest person in Newark. Sorry we scared you while you were cleaning lol. Anyways, I highly recommend visiting this place. ”

“ After learning about the closing of all nyc locations, my girlfriend ( who LOVES gogo curry) and I were happy to learn about this location in Newark. It was only about 20 minutes from my house and honestly, love this place already! The inside was very clean and the owner there was super sweet, while the food was rather small for the size option it still tasted wonderful as always! My gf was so happy to have this curry again and we hope this location can thrive! ”
